The Chilean “National Rastaman” Quique Neira (musician, singer, composer and producer), combines an ideal mixture of pure Roots Rock Reggae fused with roots of Latín American musical colors and conscious Lyrics.
A fresh blend of Latin- and Jamaican rhythms with the Spirit of Jah. Influenced by Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Víctor Jara and Violeta Parra. His hits “Cosas Buenas”, “Combajah”, “Pensando en Ti” and “Mr. Powa Man” are rotating continuously in the Chilean radio.

Quique Neira immediately became famous when he started his solo career in 2002. Before that, during the years 1991 – 1996, he had been the leader of “Bamboo”, the first band in Chile to create a Jamaican sound fusion of reggae and pop. From 1995 – 2002 he was the characteristic voice of “Gondwana”, one of the most important and leading Reggae bands in Latin America. He also composed and arranged a great number of songs of Gondwana’s 3 CDs.
