Gentleman | Direct number one in the album charts!

Gentleman - Diversity

"Diversity" - the latest album by Gentleman has made the direct entry at number one in the album charts! After the world over one million sold CDs, 10 years live dates goes around the globe, platinum and Goldveredelten master albums, the success story of Gentleman, Germany's most famous reggae artist in the next round and so the artist is happy even still has the highest single -chart entry of his entire career, since his current single "It No Pretty landed" on position 19 of the singles chart. Gentleman sat with his first single, "No It Pretty" and a moving video clip a clear stand against the steady increase of violence. In such moving and unadorned images that a large TV station has selected the song and the clip for a spontaneous anti-violence campaign. Yes, this clip disturbed and distracts from the real beauty of the song. It can have pictures that shock us through the daily news again and again and we stand there stunned. But the artist is a gentleman concern, and not just pretty pictures to a large title was to be shown.

The title of number one album, "Diversity is" also pretty much exactly again what a gentleman expected to become the fifth studio album. "Diversity" is a dazzling game of deception with the possibilities of reggae, which in this form of wealth is not much in common with the still prevailing stereotypes of the Sunshine reggae. On his recent work principle, which is unique in this continent-spanning form, has essentially not changed. Basis of all the songs are still the riddims, the gentleman in part in his own studio produced Soul Food, on the other in hours of listening sessions in Jamaican studios selects and adapts with his unerring sense for great melodies and gallant. "Diversity" is at all fun and all the joy that convey the songs, marked by large Ernsthaftigkeit.Das Star photographer Olaf Heine for the cover of the album Portrait of Gentleman shot that illustrates very well. Traversed by herbstgefärbten trees, symbolizes the iconic designed in a double-exposure picture of the wide branch, the deep roots of art in the process of change. Gentleman is set to change, progress and diversity. Diversity rules! He demonstrates this with the selection of its Featuring Artists for "Diversity": uaJack Radics, Cassandra Steen, Patrice, Luciano, Tanya Stephens and Sugar Minott, and Jamaica's shooting star Christopher Martin. And gentleman himself is heard on the new single by Stefanie Heinzmann, "Roots to Grow" will be on 28 May, it published.

From next week, go Gentleman & the Evolution, that means many familiar with his newly formed backing musicians, by the big tour of Europe. In the summer, then a gentleman in our area of the main headlining Reggae Festival.
