Reggaenews Special: Lee Everton “Sing A Song For Me”
1st Single taken from the upcoming Album "Sing a Song for me" by Rootdown Records
Bei all ihrer Detailfülle bleiben Lee Everton’s Songs – im angenehmsten Sinne – schlicht, unprätentiös, easy like sunday morning. "Ist das nun Songwriter-Reggae? Oder Soul-Reggae?", fragt der Künstler. "Ist das Etikett nicht scheißegal?", fragt der Verstand zurück.
"Ich will positive, aufbauende Musik machen." Lee Everton hat sich damit eigentlich ein bescheidenes Ziel gesetzt. Wie schwer gerade die oft zu verwirklichen sind: Der Musik des bärtigen Zürcher Barden ist davon nichts, aber auch gar nichts anzumerken. Locker, luftig, wie ohne große Überlegungen aus dem Handgelenk geschüttelt, versprühen seine Melodien den Charme eines lässigen Sommertags.

Reggaenews Feature: Zion Train “Live As One Remixed”
Having won the reggae Grammy in 2008 for the original “Live As One” album (released in September 2007) Zion Train return with the remixed version.
Additional production on this remixed version comes from places as diverse as Poland, Brazil, Mexico, Croatia and Italy to mention but a few and remixers include Rob Smith, Digital, Dub Terror with styles varying from dubstep and dub to drum and bass.

JAHCOUSTIX in Israel documentary
Short film with the music of Munich Reggae artist Jahcoustix who was involved in the ILanD project (workshop and festival focussed on collaborations between Israeli and German musicians) that took place in Tel Aviv and after that he traveled to Jerusalem, the dead sea and Petra in Jordan.
